How to make caramel nut tart

The caramel nut tart is an easy and delicious dessert that the family will love. It is a two-layer tart paste and a filling of caramel and walnuts that is placed in the oven and served.

Ingredients


    Kilo flour

    250g butter

    ½ cup sugar

    8 tablespoons of milk

    Yolk 1 egg

    1 vanilla packet

    Zest 1 lemon

    To prepare the filling:

    1 ¾ cup of sugar

    1 cup of cream

    3 cups walnuts


How to prepare


    In a bowl, put flour, butter, sugar, milk, egg yolks, vanilla and lemon zest and knead until we get a soft, non-stick dough.

    Cover the dough with nylon and put it in the fridge for an hour.

    Put the sugar in a saucepan on the stove and stir from time to time until it melts completely and caramelizes, then add the cream and stir until it is completely mixed and brought to a boil.

    Then we add the walnuts and stir for a minute until it mixes with caramel.

    Grease the tartar pan and sprinkle it with flour, extend half of the dough into it, pierce it with a fork, and put butter paper over it and any weight so that it does not rise during baking.

    We put the pan in the oven at 165 temperature for about half an hour, then take it out and put the nut and caramel filling.

    Roll out the second half of the dough and shape it over the filling to taste.

    We put the tart in the oven for about a quarter of an hour, then take it out and when it cools down it is ready to serve.
